So the wedding bells are swinging, though they haven't yet started ringing. My thanks go out to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, I had a really great day and appreciated the cards that I got as well as the thoughts and calls. On the day in question I went to Bayfest in Kaneohe and had a great time at the carnival, winning Kristi a cheap toy, as well as drinking with friends and relaxing with my new vision.

Indeed the Laser surgery (PRK) was a success and as of now my eyes are healing quite well and I can see clearly out of both of them. I really enjoy natural good vision again, being able to wear sunglasses without contacts and to see the alarm clock when I roll over in the morning. The surgery was a bit harrowing, (You can smell your eye balls cooking), but it was brief and the pain was less then expected. Hope everyone had a good fourth!
